I started a diet 2weeks ago and have been very strict.The first week i lost 7lbs & the next week nothing.why?

Sinead the first five pounds of weight that you lose are water and then you get down to the fat,you sound like you are doing a great job as far as what you are eating,increase your water intake and if you eat bread make sure it's a whole grain and not white.Try to eat mini meals and not 3 big meals a day,keep up the good work,it's normal to only lose a couple of pounds a week,it's the healthiest way to lose weight,hope this helps you out,hang in there,your doing a great job!
