Venezuelan Culture - Weddings?

Its not a venezuelan tradition, its a latin/ hispanic tradition. Traditionally the groom arrives at the church first and he is guided down the aisle by his parents, then once the groom is at the alter, the bride shows up and his walked down the aisle by her father or both of her parents. My husband is Mexican and I am 1/2 white and 1/2 cuban and that is how our wedding was....we were married in a catholic church
