When did you stop having recess? Do you think this is ridiculous?

I'm in 6th grade and I will have recess till the end of 7th grade(my school is pre-k to 12th). I used yo love recess. Now we aren't allowed to run because we might hurt ourselves and we also aren't allowed to throw we can only roll them. Theres still tether ball right? Nope its also to dangerous. Is this even allowed? Its still a nice break though. At least I still have recess. Most stop in 6th grade.
